After we got settled in Discovery Primea during the preps, me and Jayson Arquiza checked in on John in his room.

John was super hands on with all aspects of the wedding. He wanted everything perfect and we were there to make sure it was.

He was his usual self, congenial and friendly, energetic and talkative. He gave me, Jayson and Lia the planner a pep talk. He said -

Life is not measured by the numbers of breaths we take but by the moments that take our breath away.

And oh my, John and Monikka's wedding took our breath away, from the very touching and personal exhortation to the surprise song number and fireworks at the end . It was magical.
