Gazel and Philip: Fernbrook

Three shooters in five minutes.  That’s what I was offered by the couple when the party started after their reception.  Who was I to say no?

It was their way of saying thank you.  And getting tipsy was my way of saying welcome ;-)

Cheers!

Jade and Michael: Saint James/Fernbrook

I was completely excited when Michael chose an Explosions in the Sky tune for the SDE.  I’m so digging them right now (as evidenced by our recent work).

Everything fell together soooo perfectly for this piece.  The music, the vows, the composition, the edit - and especially the mood.

Enjoy!

Richelle and Richard

I remember In my Facebook stat I was ticking of the VIPs who were in attendance in this wedding.  No less than the President was there.  All of the “presidentiables” who mattered.  And a smattering of showbiz personalities.  Oh there was also this boxer named Manny Pacquiao, I think he’s popular too ;-).

It’s easy to get caught up in the glitz of big weddings.  But really, at the core of it all, it’s two people professing their commitment for one another in front of their loved ones, president or no president.

*NO.  contrary to rumors, there was no tiger in front of St. James that day.

Lia and Manolet

It can be said that Manolet has the bestest buddies in the world.  They were inseparable the whole time before the ceremony.

They were wacky and goofing around - until the processional started.

The groom couldn’t contain himself and just let go. (I mean who wouldn’t?  Lia was just plain gorgeous!)

Have a look …

Yen and Mark - Same Day Edit from Jason Magbanua on Vimeo.

Mark and yen’s video is a study in pace and rhythm. She particularly liked Geraldine and Jean’s SDEs so I knew then and there of her tastes - cinematic, climactic and a hold-your-breath-edit.
