I will be the featured presenter for the Re:Frame Collective’s kick-ass intensive workshop in New Orleans this October.

The affair is limited to 50 participants and there are very FEW slots available (I kid you not). The best and the brightest talents of the international wedding industry will join forces to share their art, craft and business savvy to the attendees.

Here’s the lowdown so far, we got six awards at last night’s Artistic Achievement Awards including THIRD, SECOND and FIRST PLACE in the Same Day Edit (Onsite Video) category. AWESOME!!!!

AND, for the SECOND STRAIGHT YEAR, once again we are part of the 25 most influential videographers IN THE WORLD.

I don’t really type in all caps but can you guess by now how THRILLED and BLOWN AWAY I am? Surreal!

Eight months ago this happened.

Fast forward to tonight and I’m waiting for boarding on a flight to San Francisco then to Orlando, Florida.

Life Lesson #4: If you want it that much, never take no for an answer.

I’m scheduled to be a guest lecturer at 4EG’s Video ‘08. Here’s the news tidbit about it. The Artistic Achievement Awards Banquet will be held on the first night as well as the awarding of this year’s EventDV25. I’m not crossing my fingers too much (we’ve been so lucky and blessed as it is) but bringing home a couple of trophies would be nirvana.

Lomomanila in cooperation with Smart Communications, Fuji YKL, Linksys and Geiser Maclang presents Lomolove Too. A month long lomography exhibit and party. Exhibit runs from Nov 10 till Dec 1 at the Blacksoup Projects Gallery, Cubao Expo, QC. Exhibit launch and party this Saturday, starting at 8 pm with live performances by The Dawn, Cambio, Taken By Cars, the Ronnies, Top Junk, Corporate Lofi, Ang Bandang Shirley, Pasok Mga Bwitre and more.

Here’s some awesome news for Pinoy wedding videographers. Sony is giving away some cool video cameras as prizes for the first ever Sony Wedding Video Competition. This contest coincides with the 2007 Photo Congress of the WPPP.
