The 2010 and 2011 Calendar: What lies ahead
whatnot November 9th, 2009I was pleasantly surprised when Bridgette (our ever dependable secretary) that we were nearing capacity for next year - 2010 (with 100+ bookings). It’s the first time it’s ever happened, us having to close the calendar the year before and I’m eternally grateful to our couples who have placed their trust and faith in our craft, art and vision.
And so we open 2011. Brides books so far in advance that we might as well open it up. However, we’ll be taking in far less for 2011. I’m gonna work my ass of next year and try to take it easy the year after.
I’m hoping to travel more, without shooting so I can ingest more, live slower and appreciate places better. I hope to work out me and Oleg Kalyan’s plan for a workshop in Moscow next year. And then I hope 2011 will be the year I get to Brazil for the wedding filmmakers there.
I’m turning 35 this December and there’s so much to go to and see.
No. These are not the musings of a person in mid-life crisis. I’m not that old!

Hi Sir Jason,
Do you have a workshop ahead late this year or next year?
Thanks
Hi Jason! Jamey and I are really excited to have you take part of our big day on 12/27! We’re counting down and can’t wait =) Would love to meet you soon. I will be flying in from NY next Wed. See you =)
i’m happy for you coz you do deserve a break to enjoy and spend time with your family…BUTTTTTTTTT i’m a little concerned coz my bf and i are planning to tie the knot 2011!i so love your work and when we were doing our initial planning for the budget he told me to budget according to all the suppliers i want and then just put marks on the ones i can compromise when push comes to shovel that it becomes too pricey…you didn’t have an asterisk coz i said you’re not something im willing to compromise…i’m even saving up just so if i really have to i’ll use my own money so we can still get you…
i really hope you’ll be available when our time comes!!how’s your sched for jan 2011 so far?
You know when me and my block mates got bored in school a few weeks ago, I decided to show them some of your works (which I have religiously been eyeing on since the day I discovered them), and you know what? They ended up telling me that they’re all ready to get married! One thing I admire about a lot of your works is their ability to connect with any type of audience (whether they know the couple or not). You’ve even got single girls hastening up on their guy radars just so they can start planning their own weddings in advance (I’m not kidding)!!
I’m currently a junior film/ad student in admu, and I will soon have to look for internships for the coming summer. Should you need extra help with your ultra extra busy schedule next year, maybe you could consider having 1 of your avid-student fans on board. I edit videos and have been taking directing and film classes but I don’t mind doing harder and more exhausting tasks).
Should you be interested, here’s my online portfolio:

Serica, is that still part of the Communications Department? If so, please give a shout out to MT for me!
He’s a big inspiration to me!
I’ll give you a shout out next year =)
