Joelene and Remar: Bohol
Bohol, videos, weddings January 20th, 2009“What the hell are those camels doing dangling from the ceiling of the church?”
And so goes the woes of the bride the day before the wedding, stressing over paper mache figures resembling Judas hanging himself on the Joshua Tree.
But hey, when you have the coolest suppliers around, there’s no need to stress right?
You gotta love Jolene’s smoky eyes and luscious lashes courtesy of The Makeup Studio,
the flawless planning and coordination of EventsEvents.
the pretty pictures of M+K.
and the gorgeous gown by Veluz.

Oh, they took down the figures and left them on the choir loft the morning of the wedding. =)

Jason, you did it again! I remember shrieks from the guests (and us, suppliers included) when the camels were shown (and when our dashing groom uttered, “I have something horrible to say, Joelene Ilustre Sarmiento, I love you.” You truly captured the day – the fun dress-up, the heartwarming speeches, and the party atmosphere in the reception with this same day edit. Congratulations!
Thanks Ernest!!! The wedding was smooth sailing because of you and your team!
Good times!
Jason, daaaang!
Ernest, funny that you remembered shrieks from the guests; I could only remember yours.
Shrieking like a girl the whole time, tsk tsk

see you soon Sabs!!!
It’s not often that all the top wedding suppliers are all together in one island, super saya and I’m happy that we’re the first couple to bring you all to Bohol. The onsite was, once again, flawless and fun. You were able to capture all my favorite moments: My VERY false eyelashes and smoky eyes (totally out of Madge’s comfort zone, but she worked it!), Veluz’s beeautiful creation (and her fun little cameo in the video!), Madge making my already highly emotional mother cry 10 million times, the laughter and tears of joy, including my own happy tears. I was really levelheaded and relaxed the whole day until the vows (but the whole church cried along with me, even Felicity, who admits she has never cried at a wedding!). And of course, how can I ever forget, the bane of my existence, the CAMELS! I’m glad you went with this song! Most of all, thank you for capturing the love between us so effortlessly. My handsome husband looks even more amazing on video (I’m sure the FAN CLUB thinks so as well, ahem, ERNEST and VELUZ). You were totally worth changing our wedding day for (confession)! Thank you.
Awwwww, Joelene.
Thank you dear for hosting us in Bohol. It was such a pleasure!
I’m bigheaded now because of your confession! =)
Take care!
