Millicent and John: A change of pace
Santuario de San Jose, videos, weddings January 17th, 2009We’ve shot Fr. Gerry Orbos’ homily several times before, but really, the chopsticks bit doesn’t get old.
Here’s the Same Day Edit from Millicent and John’s wedding - an intentionally languid-paced, mostly real-time clip… a breath of fresh air really.
Millicent and John from Jason Magbanua on Vimeo.

First, Let me Thank you Jason and your team for shooting our wedding.
On behalf of my lovely wife Millicent, We would like to share our appreciation for this wonderful SDE and truly we have chosen the right team to capture our once in a lifetime event.
I still remember early last year when we first met at chilli’s, you were our first supplier then and we were quick to decide that you were the one. Simple, fun to chat with and a very down to earth person. Always smiling with those pair of almost chinky eyes (which can be mistaken for a Chinese). After you left i felt so relieved to have you, since I’m the one in-charge in photos and videos while the rest is Millicent’s decisions.
I distinctly remembered sending an email to Jason on the song to be used on the SDE, i was so certain back then that no one would be able to guess the song. So when i got Jason’s reply, i was in shocked that he knows the song. And with that i know that i really have chosen the right team to capture our wedding.
If i may so so, I’ve never expected Jason to be so in fashion. The time i saw him at chilli’s he was wearing a rock start shirt and jeans. On our wedding, he was wearing like someone who came out from GQ Magazine. And if i may say, you really look good on our wedding.
Anyway, if you guys need a videographer, there is only one person to call and that would be Mr. Jason Magbanua (JM).
I’ll see you soon man, for future eventsssss… =)
John & Milli,
Congratulations and best wishes! I terribly feel sorry for not being able to make it to your wedding. As much as I wanted to be with my wife MeAnne to witness and celebrate with you guys, I can’t. Nevertheless, I hope you guys can make to our “church wedding” someday, somewhere here.. hopefully (an early notice of invitation, hahahaha).
Thanks to Jason Magabanua for putting up this lovely video that depicts the beauty and intimacy of your union. I hope he will be able to do the videography for us.. soon… as we always have admired his creativity and his ability to put the real “emotion” in his masterpiece.
May God bless and keep your marriage. May you be blessed with wonderful children and grandchildren!
Warm regards from New York!
