Cathy and Dante: Formal With a Twist of Rock and Roll
weddings January 13th, 2008Yep, that’s what’s on their invite regarding dress code. And the guest came, ready to rock, ready to roll! It was a sight to see the gentlemen in their suits paired with sneakers (mostly Chucks), including a Ninong.
The wedding bands were left in Laguna and nobody else would be able to return for it. Any other bride would raise hell over it, and understandably so, but not Cathy - “Ok, let’s just use our favorite rings and have the bands blessed some other time.”
So they ended up with a skull ring and the bride’s ring with some lipstick on the inside.
It was tradition for Dante’s barkada to ride with whoever’s getting married to the church. By ride, I mean - in full metal glory. Vespas, Harleys and numerous other bikes filled the parking lot of Santuario de San Antonio.

This highlight is very sophisticated yet, videojournalistic. The music perfectly blends with the pixels in motion. Indeed, one of my favorites on this Blog. By the way, who is the singer of this song ?

Jason, I keep playing this video over and over again! And each time, I break into a smile. You have the gift of capturing each beautiful moment of Cathy (my cousin) and Dante’s wedding. Thank you for allowing me to relive this heartfelt occasion even if I am all the way in Boston!
Jason, I did not have the opportunity to meet you but may I say you really captured the essence of my brother’s wedding. Will you do the videography of my wedding too? Now…just to find a groom, hehe
