Through the eyes of a colleague
news, whatnot June 10th, 2007Remember the Boracay trip I blogged about last Feb? The one where premiere videographer Julie Hill of Elysium dropped by for a visit.
Well it turns out she wrote about her experience for EventDV and had nothing but the kindest of words.

Read it here.
Here’s my favorite part.
As any experienced wedding videographer will tell you, getting amazing shots during a Catholic ceremony is not easy. Jason’s team, however, seems to have it down to a science—without even communicating. It’s almost like a dance.
Thanks Julie for the beautiful beautiful article. ![]()

Hey Edwin,
Not going to embarrass Jason with more hyperbole except to say that he has a HUGE fanbase among American videographers. I hope you Filipina brides know you are some of the luckiest on earth to have the opportunity for Jason and his talented crew to tell the story of your day.

well done
also fyi, the link on the phrase “Boracay trip” is faulty.
Hi Jason,
I am doing some portraitures and I want to include some friends in the industry. Some of the early victims are Threelogy, Veluz.
Who knows… because of your popularity I might be able to cash on it someday ;).
Hi Sir Jayson.
You are a videographer-god! What other superlative words can describe you but, for me, “god” in our craft. Your style and mastery in videography reveal the inner spirit, the subtle aura of feelings and the unique workings and drama, and spirit of the event masterfully woven in so subtle and artistic a manner! You are a “god” who constantly provide inspiration and dynamic impetus for us to excell in our craft. Wedding videography is Jason Magbanua. I prostrate before your works, your creativity, your beautiful soul! He he he, OA ba? But that’s the truth!
Jason, saludo po ako sa inyo sir!!! As a starting Videographer in CA, you gave me inspiration to pursue the stuff that I love to do. I’ve been visiting your site watching some of your videos and it is surely inspiring. I admire your artistic talent and style. Congratulations and keep up the good work!!!

Naresh, stand up you crazy man. It’s nice enough to be doing what we do. But it’s really extra special gravy that we get to help other people along the way.
Salamat po ng marami!
