Writings on the sand
pictures, whatnot March 1st, 2007It was detox time from Feb 23rd to the 27th as me and the whole crew and my entire immediate family as well as Dinolara’s whole gang took a trip to Boracay Island. It was as beautiful as I remembered it. Camera in tow, videographer turns into photographer…
Perhaps my favorite picture of all - reckless abandon on the sand (ahhh to be young again)

One of the highlights of the trip was when Orange County wedding videographer Julie Hill (Elysium Productions) dropped by to chat, observe, shoot and help out. Her main trip was actually in Negros Occidental where she documented doctors on a medical mission. It was the most fun swapping stories about the industry and comparing the differences in wedding cultures. Oh, they charge $5000 ++ a wedding (put jaw back up here).

One word I picked up from Julie is GINORMOUS! (As in gigantic + enormous)
As in this sand castle…

as in our appetites - a 30 person long table at Seawind’s seafood grill buffet…

Can you spell vacation hangover?

what? no vacation SDEs? heh
J, I’m so completely envious of the vacay spot - absolutely breathtakingly gorgeous.
Oh, and the FOOD! man, that looks good… I’m usually only exposed to the typical pancit and lumpia, but I would kill for some super authentic filipino cuisine!
lastly your boy is a spitting image of you!
That was a grand Seafood Buffet at Seawind. But what you and Pang really missed was our dinner prepared by Master Jun the night before you arrived.
Boracay! I havent been there but I hope to be able to go when I go home.
Yup thats pretty much how much they charge here. My cousin had a wedding and I think thats how much the photographer charged. wala pang videographer niyan.
You gotta come over sometime Andrew. The food, the beach, the company :).
Ahh, that’s what they say about my youngest. You know understand why my top is kept to a minimum? A ‘fro doesn’t look cute on me :p
Dino.
Too bad, missed that sumptuous dinner.
Raissa.
YOu really should when you get the chance.
