The 2006 EventDV 25
news January 8th, 2007It’s been the second year that EventDV.net has been coming out with an “All Star Team” of international videographers monickered the EventDV 25. The shortlist is what voters deem to be the “hottest”, most influential worldwide.

We were voted in to be part of the 25.
To say it was a pleasant surprise is an understatement. I was blown away with the news. It’s truly humbling and I’m extremely grateful to the videographers all over the planet who deemed us worthy for such a recognition.
Salamat!

It was Year 2000 when I saw this lanky fellow who will be the videographer for BJ’s wedding in Cavite. He is very unassuming, mild mannered… very surprising considering that he is an Atenean. Mine you, most of his wedding that time were “out of town” since he resides in Lucena and most of the weddings are in Manila.
Being also new in the business that time, I noticed that he is different from the usual videographers. His shooting style is different, the way he attacks a scene is unconventional. Wedding after wedding he continuously improves his craft, doing things out of the box, never stops learning new tricks and investing in new toys to complement his style.
He introduced several first in videography, sending out CD samplers, using top of the line HD format cameras, onsite Video editing among others.
Still beyond his numerous coverages, he set-up pinoyvideomaker. Very few videographers and popular one at that are willing to share their successes and devote precious time to this undertaking. However, he did it — sharing his knowledge with newcomers and others who are more than willing to learn from him.
Single-handedly he transformed videography/ers from a second class supplier (second only to photographers) to a primary artform. No contest, all the benefits videographers are reaping now they owe from this man.
He definitely deserves all the accolades he is getting now. Despite his very busy schedule he remains to be a responsible husband to his wife Pang and his kids.
He is “the man”.
Jason… truly extraordinary.
Congratulations.

I agree with what Kuya Fol said. You are the face of the video industry. Maski gaano ka kayabang deep down you are such a nice guy. Remain that way ok?
Looking forward to bigger things for you.

Thank you all!
Mimi.
The quest for the almighty visa continues. hehe
Benz.
Ako mayabang? (bats eyelashes). Sige na nga. And I’m just as proud I grew up with W@W. FYI, the bio I sumbitted to EventDV indicated W@W supplier of the year. Too bad they mistakenly attributed it to wedding essentials.
Fol.
I’m truly speechless Fol. Thank you for your kind and humbling words. You’re making me blush. And I know na who to call come biography writing time.
Cez Marlon.
Make no mistake. Every single wedding we shot, every couple we met along the way, shaped who we are and what we’ve become. Tahnks
