Ma-an and Winston
weddings December 2nd, 2006There was so much to shoot in this wedding yet so little tape.
The beautiful bride. The dashing groom. The fedora hats. The funky eyeshadow. The vintage Jaguar. The forties vibe. The talented singers. The gorgeous ladies.
We simulated old film with a bleached semi-sepia look and film clutter here and there.
The imagery in this video was just simply awesome.

Talk about taking the theme to heart.

Here’s the video.

Sweeeet video Jason! My fav. shots: the closeup of the groom’s feet while he walks down the aisle, and the bride freshening her makeup in the rear-view mirror.

Julie.
Those two shots, are in fact also my favorites. It was difficult catching that shot of the bride. I had that cam with a non-zoom wide angle on top of a glidecam. I had to take off the bayonet mount off the lens with one hand, zoom, focus, compose with the sled of the GC resting on my belt the whole time. Then I had to but the lens back on (a real pain) to glide just in time for the walk. Whew!
Hogie.
The groom really knew how to play with the camera so we got some great footage of him. Thanks for watching.

Philip. Thanks for watching.

Really appreciate it!
Chris.
Funny thing is, work didn’t feel like work with the couple. It was a blast shooting with them.
Cheers

You know Jason, I second-the-motion on Chris Ang’s posting. It’s what… 2007 now, but it seems like only yesterday when my brother Winston got hitched. ‘Til now it still moves me immensely whenever I watch the vid. Every … single… shot! Your work is pure magic.
