Last week I had the chance of attending a workshop co-presented by the British Council and the Ayala Museum. It was conducted by filmmakers from London who specialized in film shorts for designer labels.
I had the fabulous opportunity to meet and work with Jo Ann Bitangcol and Ynigo Santos on a piece for Filipino designer Joey Samson as part of the requirements of the workshop.
Joey is the pre-eminent menswear designer in the country. His pieces are structured, and architectural. Most often with a twist but never frivolous. It made sense for us to draw comparisons to those design elements with the location provided, the confines of the Ayala Museum. We had a blast doing this. Check it out!
